Product Overview of 18kw Rectifier System
Designed for carrier-grade reliability and high-density power delivery, the ET-Series 18kW rectifier system ensures uninterrupted DC power for telecommunications central offices, medium-to-large data centers, and industrial environments. The system operates from 220V AC single-phase inputs and produces a finely regulated DC output ranging from –43V to –58V, with a standard setting of –53.5V. Delivering up to 18kW and achieving conversion efficiencies above 96% across its typical load spectrum, it substantially reduces both energy usage and the cooling demands that come with it.
Built with continuous operation in mind, the unit accommodates up to six hot-swappable 3000W rectifier modules, allowing N+1 or higher redundancy configurations. Each module weighs under 2kg and uses forced-air cooling, active Power Factor Correction (≥0.99), and low Total Harmonic Distortion (THDi ≤5%) to ensure smooth grid interaction and stable output. All components are housed in a 5U, 19-inch rack-mountable chassis rated IP20, with front-access hot-swap capability that simplifies maintenance. Rear-mounted copper busbars provide a low-impedance, high-current connection path.
Integrated DC distribution includes both low-voltage load disconnect (LLVD) and battery low-voltage disconnect (BLVD), enabling prioritized load shedding to protect critical battery reserves during power outages. An advanced system controller offers comprehensive monitoring and programmable logic through analog inputs (AI), digital inputs (DI), and digital outputs (DO). Remote oversight is supported via RS485 and SNMP interfaces, giving operators full visibility into alarms, performance metrics, and rectifier status. A front-panel LCD also allows convenient on-site configuration and diagnostics.
The rectifier modules perform reliably under harsh conditions, operating without derating across a temperature range of –40°C to +65°C and relative humidity from 5% to 95% (non-condensing). Full rated power is maintained at altitudes up to 3000 meters. With scalable redundancy, intelligent load management, and rugged construction, the ET-Series 18kW Rectifier System offers a future-ready DC power backbone for mission-critical applications where any downtime is unacceptable.
